Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate Granulation Technology

More and more Ammonium Nitrate based fertilizers are nowadays produced as granules, leading to products having better mechanical properties, bigger granulometry and better aspect than the prilled products. 

The majority of granulation processes are using Ammonium Nitrate solution with a concentration between 95 and 97.5% weight. 

The AMNIT PROCESS offers to produce such concentrated solutions, in conditions that gives: 

• Probably the safest available technology, 
• Very high production yield, 
• Low maintenance cost, 
• Optimal environmental compatibility with highest requirements. 
• Auto-thermal and self controlled process 

The "AMNIT PROCESS" has been developed by the Belgian Company "HECKE", owner of the know-how. The "AMNIT PROCESS" is an improvement of the "CARNIT PROCESS" which has been successfully applied since 1990 in one Belgium plant, operating at 2750 tpd of AN solution. 

The technology is now available through an exclusive agreement between HECKE and CEAMAG for the Licence and Know-How transfer to Customers.
